As the name suggests, stainless steel is used to shield the contents of the flask from the air temperature, as well as provide an easy to clean surface around the inside when you’re home and washing it out.
As for the assembly, the main body of the flash has a lid which seals the contents in, and in the top of this inner lid is where the included folding spoon is stored. Then the lid which doubles up as a bowl goes over the inner lid to form a cover flush to the outer casing of the body and a final seal to keep the unit together.

Like the Thermos, the WayEee flask also comes in several colours, let’s take a look:Picture | Colour & Price Link |

As you would expect, the flask is capable of many hours of maintaining the temperature of its contents, ensuring you get to enjoy a hot or chilled meal away from home. It will hold 450ml of soup, so is little smaller than the Thermos in terms of capacity.
The flask includes a folding spoon built into the inner lid, and the flask is designed to withstand a greater pressure inside the chamber that automatically builds while the contents are sealed inside, all helping to maintain the temperature of your food for longer.
The flask also includes a 3 year warranty for peace of mind, which is always helpful to know if you’re looking at a lesser known brand and aren’t sure of the quality of your purchase.
WisFox Food Flask Review
Unlike the previous two flasks, the Wisfox is available in blue only, although luckily that will appeal to most buyers or at least be unlikely to be seen as an offensive colour!
It’s a higher capacity solution that the models we’ve covered above, able to store up to 750ml of contents. What’s more, the price is competitive with the smaller flasks too, as you can see on Amazon.

As you’ll now be expecting based on the other products, this also includes a folding spoon, as well as a storage bag and sponge brush for cleaning too as an added bonus.

Buying this flask will get you nine hours of hot food or sixteen hours cold, which is likely to be plenty for most buyers.
It’s a great way to not only keep your food at the temperature who want to enjoy it when you’re ready to eat, but also generate less waste than buying food in disposable packaging when you’re on the move.
With built in pressure management, you won’t be fighting against a vacuum to open the flask when the time comes to eat, and the lid doubles up as a convenient cup or bowl.
Soup Flask FAQ
Now we’ve looked at some of the best selling flasks available, let’s talk more generally to address some questions you might have.
Can I Keep Other Food Hot Other Than Soup?
As we touched on briefly at the beginning of the page, people often associate flasks with tea and coffee, and these soup flasks aren’t one trick ponies.
You can keep all sorts hot (or cold) if you need to, so if you’re thinking more along the lines of solid food, you can heat the inner flask using boiling water with the lid on while you prepare the food, then once the food is hot, pour out the water and replace it with your food.
That will give you a very hot starting point, sealed just as it would be with soup. You may not get quite as long to enjoy a hot snack or meal, but it should still work for hours.
Are Flasks Suitable For Dishwasher Cleaning?
We’ve addressed this question relating to soup makers in the dishwasher, and the answer here is generally the same, albeit for a different reason.
You should assume that it’s not a good idea to put a flask into the dishwasher because they should not be submerged in water. They work separating the contents from the outside air by a series of barriers and gaps. These gaps can potentially fill with water if the flask is submerged (or placed in a dishwasher). The risk is therefore that the flask’s ability to keep food and drink hot or cold could be reduced, as water could get into those gaps.
How Easy Are They To Clean?
If you can’t put them into the dishwasher with plates and cutlery, you’ll no doubt be wondering how much effort is needed to keep your flask clean. After all, it’s going to cost you at least fifteen pounds (unless you happen to fall lucky with a good discount above), so you will want it so stay in great condition.
The key is to wash them as soon as possible after use. Once done eating, replace the lid to prevent the remaining contents from drying out too much, then give it a wipe around with a soapy sponge and rinse out when you get home.
Cleaning should be easy, so long as you stay disciplined and do it as quickly as possible.
The Souped Up Summary
While these flasks aren’t strictly speaking limited to carrying soup, they are a very useful way to do so. If you’re serious about your soup making, you’ll be making some regularly, and these give you the versatility to enjoy your home-made creations outside the home too. They’ll be particularly effective for people that don’t have an easy way to heat their meals on the move, keeping them hot all day if required.
